I'm begginer in electronic world. I would to start but this is difficult.
I can buy QOMU (Interesting project) but how using it?

It no have emulator, on web page https://tomu.im/qomu.html some links not working https://nuttx.org/

I think about creating a small keyboard for usb device. Begginers have trouble with peripherials, screen and power. Why not creating a small keyboard like https://hackaday.io/project/9692-ello-2m but offgrid.

This dev platforms will be using in many others projects and will show for many people how small procesor can to do.
