Problem capturing data on the Quicklogic Dev Kit

Hello,
I am trying a simple data capture application to train my ML model using the quicklogic kit and Sensi ML. I have already flashed the simple stream firmware and installed and setup my SensiML account and data capture lab on Windows.
But, the issue is that whenever I scan for new devices, the Quick Logic board does show but on connecting the status is stuck on "Retrieving Configuration" and even if I try to collect data, the data file shows as empty.
Any help or assistance would be greatly appreciated.
