I'm looking to use the eFPGA in the EOS S3 to drive and process data from a linear CCD, and am using an I2C ADC to read the data in. The Technical Reference manual seems to indicate it is possible to access the Sensor managers, and thus the I2C interface, from the eFPGA, presumably by either directly reading from the Sensor Manager memory or using some sort of mailbox system.
Can anyone provide clarification on how this is supposed to work?
