Hi,
First, I'm not a Linux (Ubuntu) expert!
I need help installing Symbiflow with Ubuntu (under Window 10 WSL).
I have made many attempt with: laptop running Ubuntu, Ubuntu on Windows with VM and they all failled!
The installation seem to go fine but when I try to run the counter example it fail.
The directory structure of Symbiflow seem to be wrong!
I have followed the "Installing Symbiflow on Linux" guide and tutorial from the document QuickLogic-FPGA-Toolchain Release 1.0.0. The installer file is Symbiflow_v1.3.2.gz.run.
I have join some log files of the installation and the compilation of the exemple.

Regarding the directory structure that you suspect is wrong, can you describe it more specifically? What did you expect the directory structure to be like and how is it different from what you see?
Based on your previous questions about the Velocity Raptor game from TestTubeGames and the Simutrans forum, it seems you might be referring to a technical issue related to installing software, possibly on a Linux system, given the context of forums and open-source tools. Sprunki

Sometimes a small mistake during installation can cause a lot of problems. You can try to completely uninstall Symbiflow and reinstall it following the official instructions.lessaro wrote: ↑Mon Feb 12, 2024 10:24 pm Hi,

SymbiFlow + QuickLogic tools are not officially supported on WSL, and they are unreliable inside VMs.lessaro wrote: ↑Mon Feb 12, 2024 10:24 pm Hi,

Check Dependencies: Ensure all required packages are installed.
Run as Admin: Use sudo to execute the installer.
Verify Directory Structure: Make sure the files are correctly extracted.
Review Logs: Look for specific error messages in the logs.
Use WSL 2: Ensure you're on WSL 2 for better compatibility.
Sharing specific error messages can help in diagnosing the issue further!

Since you're using Windows 10 + WSL (Ubuntu), there are a few common failure points that can cause the counter example to fail even if installation appears successful.
