Our customer needs a replacement for NXP PTN3700 RGB-to-LVDS video interface link.

FROM CUSTOMER:
Needs a video bridge that can take 6bit each of R,G,B and put out LVDS that looks like:

The data rate on the LVDS isn’t much…like < 40MHz.

Looks like Articlinc III has a device for this function.

RGB-to-LVDS part number is: CSSP-BPFDN120

Is this device the right one to consider? Is it programmed by Quicklogic? What is the availability?

Yes, the Bx5A1D is the right device for this application, it can bridge between your RGB interface and the LVDS display.
The full datasheet for the 2 channel LVDS device is available at https://www.quicklogic.com/wp-content/u ... _Sheet.pdf

Here is a concise answer (in English) to your customer’s questions:

The part CSSP‑BPFDN120 from QuickLogic was listed in the same family as their display-bridge devices that convert RGB or MIPI input to LVDS output.

BUT according to QuickLogic’s “Product Change Notification,” CSSP-BPFDN120 is now obsolete — last-order date was 09/30/2024.

The more relevant current device family is CSSP‑BXFDN120 (part of the ArcticLink III BX display-bridge family). That device is described explicitly as bridging RGB inputs to LVDS (single or dual link).

Configuration of ArcticLink III bridge (RGB → LVDS) is done via I2C/SPI registers — i.e. it’s “programmed” via register configuration, not user-FPGA programming.

CSSP-BPFDN120 is not a good choice today, because it is obsolete / end-of-life. Instead, consider CSSP-BXFDN120 (ArcticLink III BX) for a RGB-to-LVDS bridge. It supports RGB input and LVDS output, and is configured via registers, not custom programming play plants vs brainrots
