A convenient way of running Linux on windows is using the Linux Subsystem for Windows.

I downloaded the installer Symbiflow_v1.0.0.gz.run and tried to install it on a Debian running under Linux Subsystem for Windows. The installer fetches stuff from the web and part of it fails.
